I am in awe.
I’ve never seen someone so naturally strong as Konstantinovs.
First, He’s Got Normal Proportions …
For a guy his size, he looks tall, and he doesn’t look like a bowling ball. He’s around 282lb bodyweight … but he has a 2,217lb powerlifting total.
Oh … and that total … is RAW.
Like stupid raw. Not like just “normal raw”. Like, deadlifting without a belt raw …
727lb Raw Squat, like it’s his JOB!
Here’s the vid:
Next, He Goes To work on the Raw Bench For 551lb!
Again, he clocks in and presses what looks like an easy 551lbs. Raw.
Last, How Bout a 939lb RAW Deadlift with NO FREAKIN’ BELT!
I just started training with a belt this year. And of all the lifts I would WANT a belt to train in, or compete in, it’s the deadlift. But this raw deadlift with NO BELT — and 61 pounds away from 1,000 pounds! – just blows my mind!
The Way I See It …
- He has a 7.8x bodyweight total!
- He has a 2.5x bodyweight squat!
- He has a 1.9x bodyweight bench!
- He has a 3.3x bodyweight deadlift!
- All Raw!
That’s impressive!
For examples sake, I would need to total 1084 pounds … have a 347.5 pound squat … a 264lbs bench … and a 458 lbs deadlift (with no belt!) at my current bodyweight that hovers mostly around 139lbs.
Oh Yeah, And As If It Wasn’t Obvious, This is FUNCTIONAL Strength!
This type of strength built with powerlifting, full-body movements, fulfills the “functional” quota that so many trainers talk about these days.
Like, how bout weighing 260 something pounds … and … doing 55 pullups in a row! Check the vid:
I hope you enjoy this post, I wanted to just highlight this guy’s amazing strength.
