Ed Coan&#039;s 837-lb deadlift at the 1996s IPF Worlds -- similar back angle -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMGnd2_CrD0 -- even though you start in the right position and you keep the lower back as locked in as possible in the right position, but it seems like your upper back will start rounding anyways to shorten the distance, etc ... still examining all this myself.

@ Andy: well, the 135lb&#039;s isn&#039;t a 1 rep max, I used to do 3 x 3 with that weight -- so my 1RM is probably higher there ... but like I said ... I&#039;ve been focusing on powerlifting stuff lately, so I&#039;ve been benching with no overhead press work. That&#039;s the answer.</description>
