Arnold knew the secret to growth was leg training – do you?
If you want to build a monstrous chest and massive arms then this short article will show you exactly how you can accomplish that… without… spending any extra time working those specific muscles out.
In fact, I will explain how you can build muscle on your chest and arms by working your LEGS!
“What? How can leg training help my upper body grow?”
I know this may sound strange to you?
Many bodybuilders and weight lifters might agree that this sounds strange. But that is why they still have scrawny arms and a small chest.
You see, the problem is that most weight lifters spend too much time doing isolation exercises for their arms and chest in a futile attempt to build a massive upper body…
Why is this bad?
Stimulate Hormones For GROWTH!
This is a bad way to try to build a big upper body because one of the key factors of building muscle is making sure you increase your levels of growth hormone (GH), testosterone (T), and other “body chemicals”… these chemicals signal your body to “build more muscle NOW!” And that’s what you want!
Now, the best way to “jack up” the levels of these chemicals in your body (so you automatically build more muscle) is by intensely exercising your ENTIRE body… and not just certain parts (like your arms or chest).
So when trainees focus too much on doing lots of different exercises for their arms… and a lot of different exercises for their chest… they’re only working out small muscle groups and not putting their body under enough stress to signal muscle growth.
So what’s the secret to remedy this problem?
Your LEGS are the secret!
The answer is to work out ALL of your body as much as possible. Especially the biggest muscles of your body. Like your legs and back and THEN your chest, arms, etc.
Here’s the best way to do this: start with compound (multi-joint) exercises like the deadlift and squat before you start doing isolation exercises like specific chest exercises (dumbbell flies, etc) and arm exercises (curls, etc).
So, how can you start building muscle fast using the information in this article? If you want to build a shirt-popping chest and gigantic arms then you need to work out your whole body more (not just focus on isolation exercises for the body parts you want to grow) and don’t forget to work those LEGS!
