Want to know the best fat burning exercises you can do?
Then you’re going to LOVE this article because I’m going to expose my two favorite types of fat burning exercises (that work like gangbusters to help you burn tons o’ fat)!
Ready?
Best Fat Burning Exercise #1: Whole Body Strength Training
When you strength train your whole body you’re increasing the levels of good “fat burning hormones” in your body… and putting almost every muscle in your body under stress and strain, causing your body to burn a lot of “fuel” (in the form of fat) to power it.
Whole body exercises (like squats, deadlifts, etc) almost always hit every BIG muscle group… such as the legs and back… muscles that burn the most calories.
Plus, more muscles means you burn slightly more calories at rest because muscle burns more calories than fat (and less fat means less of the “bad fat promoting” hormones in your body). So read my article on strength training 101 for more information.
Best Fat Burning Exercise #2: Interval Training
If you’re still doing long, steady-state cardio to try and burn fat… you’re way behind the curve. If you want to build more fat, in less time, while preserving your hard-earned muscle mass… then you need to be doing high intensity interval training like NOW.
Besides the fact that long distance, steady-state cardio makes your body more efficient at producing fat… uses your muscle mass for fuel… and isn’t the healthiest thing for your heart (the enlarged hearts of marathon runners are actually weaker than the hearts of sprinters — that’s why so many of them keel over dead!)…
BESIDES all that — Interval training is more fun too. No more thousands of hours running on a treadmill, etc. So read my article on interval training for more information.
So there you go those are my two best fat burning exercises.
