4 Advanced Techniques to Help You Build Muscle Fast

While you may be involved in body building, there’s a good chance that you just aren’t getting those big muscles that are well sculpted. Many body builders also end up finding that their workouts are getting easier and they are looking for ways that they can challenge. Well, with advanced workout routines, there are ways that you can build muscle fast and get out of your slump.

Of course don’t think that building that muscle quickly with these techniques is going to be easy, because it will take quite a bit of work on your part. However, if you are ready to be really challenged and to build up your muscles bigger and more defined than ever before, here are a few advanced techniques that can help you to accomplish this.

How to know if you need these techniques

If you can’t squat at least 1.5x your bodyweight. You don’t need these. If you can’t deadlift 1.5-2x your bodyweight, then don’t bother with these techniques. You need to work those basic compound exercises FIRST and build that starting level of strength, before trying anything advanced.

With that said, here are the 4 muscle building techniques…

Partial Reps

First of all, one great advanced technique you can use to build muscle fast is partial reps. This can actually be a bit of fun for you and what you do is instead of lifting your weights all the way up, all you do is take them about half way and then hold them there for about 15 seconds.

As you do these partial reps, you are definitely going to feel the burn and you should do them until you tire. You can minimize the pain by making sure that you remember to do stretches after every single set.

This is also a great way to get past sticking points in your lifts, like where your triceps take over the load on your bench press (the point where it gets REALLY hard) you can do partial reps on that spot.

Forced Reps

Another advanced routine that can help you build muscle fast is by using forced reps. The way you do this is to lift your weights again and again but you get faster and faster. On every 11th lift, you’ll have your spotter help you lift the barbell, which basically forces the rep and it will feel like the weights are getting heavier over time. It’s hard, but it really works.

Huge Sets without Resting

Doing huge sets without resting can help you to build up muscles quickly as well. What you do is while you are exercising a specific group of muscles, you actually never rest. You will have those muscles burning in no time and you’ll be able to quickly build up muscle when you use this method of lifting.

Quick Strip Sets

Last of all are the quick strip sets, which is an advanced technique that will help you build muscle fast. You’ll need a couple buddies to help you out with this. What you do is bench press with the top weight you use and as you do it quickly, you’ll have your buddies lower the amount of weight. It is important that you do this quickly, since the speed actually builds up your muscles.

The faster you lift the weight, the more muscle fibers you’ll recruit.

So, if you’re wanting to build up muscle as quickly as possible, these advanced routines can really help. Try one or try them all and you’ll definitely see results.
