Didn’t think so (who doesn’t want to be bigger and stronger?)

Here’s 3 tips for building more muscle mass…

  1. Do Compound Lifts: Squats, Deadlifts, Pullups, Overhead Presses, Bench Press, etc. Don’t waste time with isolation exercises. Basically, all you need is a Squat movement, a Push Movement, and a pull movement. You can get all these from the Big lifts I mentioned. Hit the big lifts and…
  2. Hit The Big Lifts Hard: Squat heavy, deadlift heavy. Do the 20 rep squat routine. Use correct form ALWAYS. But keep in mind the more weight you put up the stronger you’ll get… more strength=more muscle… and then you can put up more weight. As long as you eat correctly you’ll get strong and look more like an olympic weight lifter than a fat powerlifter… which brings me to…
  3. Eat a LOT: Protein is important. Can’t stomach 6 meals a day? Neither can I. Eat your normal breakfast, lunch and dinner (making sure there is protein and carbs in each meal). And drink a protein shake in between breakfast and lunch. And in between lunch and dinner. And one protein shake before bed. One of these protein shakes will probably end up being your “recovery meal” after your weight workout.
